Apps For Exercise (a great stress buster!)

Nike Training Club – This app is like carrying a personal trainer around with you. There are graduated workout levels and workouts designed for whatever your fitness goal is. Learn how to do the exercises properly by watching the demonstration videos which have been made for each. By completing workouts you can unlock bonus features such as celebrity trainer workouts.

Map My Run – Track your runs and other workouts with this app – available in free or paid version. It can be a great boost to your confidence to see the progress you are making! This app will map out and time your runs, track your diet and track any other workouts you input.

Deepak Chopra Mobile Apps -A series of apps which offer yoga and mental wellness. Find a quiet place and center yourself.

Other Apps

Gratitude Journal – Writing can be a cathartic exercise in itself when you are under stress. Gratitude Journal allows you to track moments that are worth being thankful for and acts as a daily journal. When times are hard, it’s often helpful to remember what we are grateful for!

Sleep Cycle – The idea of this app is for you to wake up at the optimal time so that you don’t feel groggy. It is effectively a bio-alarm clock that monitors sleep patterns and wakes you up when you are in a lighter stage of sleep (within set limits of your desired alarm time). You can also note sleep disturbances and any activities that have affected your sleep.

These are just a few of the top representatives from the myriad of apps available out there. Please let us know if any of these have helped you?
